FERGUSON, MO (KPLR) –Two men were shot Saturday outside a beauty supply shop in Ferguson. Gunfire erupted near the Top Beauty Supply store in the 900 block of Airport Road.

The store owner says he heard gun shots but didn’t see anything. No one inside the store was wounded.

Investigators found two male victims. Both were taken to the hospital.  Police Chief Tom Jackson says they believe the men were shot by a single shooter who fled west from the scene.

Police checked nearby properties. They also climbed to the store’s roof in search of evidence.

It’s unclear what led to the shooting or if there was an exchange of gunfire.
