(KPLR) -Friday, October 24 marks the opening night of an art exhibition of works by African-American artworks collected by St. Louis residents, loaned to the gallery. The exhibition was planned long before the Ferguson events, as a celebration of African-American artists and the influences of African-American tradition in St. Louis art collections.

Susan Barrett, co-curator with Philip Slein of the exhibition 'Other Ways; Other Times' was here Wednesday afternoon to inform us of their opening night.
