Missouri now has a designated Ebola testing lab

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) -  Governor Jay Nixon says Missouri now has a designated  Ebola testing lab, approved by the CDC.

The Missouri State Public Health Laboratory in Jefferson City will now be able to test suspected  Ebola samples  before a confirmation testing with the CDC.

There currently are no cases of Ebola in Missouri.  Gov. Nixon says the Jefferson City lab could help rule out or confirm potential cases.
