ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – Two children have been treated at  St. Louis Children’s Hospital for muscle weakness or paralysis.

Doctors say both cases have not been linked to Enterovirus 68 but different strains of that virus can cause mild paralysis.

St. Louis Children’s sees about five similar cases each year where children lose the use of one or both arms or legs.
