Dr. King’s daughter in Ferguson for non-violence training

FERGUSON, MO (KPLR) - The daughter of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is in Ferguson teaching the principles of non-violent social change.

A large crowd showed up at St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley Wednesday for "nonviolence 365 education" training.

Ferguson residents, community and religious leaders are learning the six steps of nonviolent social change.

The four-day training at the community college ends Saturday.

Training will also be held next week in Riverview Gardens.
