ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - If there's one thing we know about our culture, it`s that many of us are in a hurry.  Just look at how some of us park.

Researchers are wondering if how we park has a connection to economic prosperity.  Most Americans rarely back into their parking spots.    We pull in head first.

In cultures with faster growing economies, most drivers actually back into parking spots.

Some experts believe taking the time to back in is a sign of a culture that thinks long term.  A little inconvenience pulling into a parking space will lead to less inconvenience when driving away.  And they think when it comes to an economy, thinking long term is the way to go.

I have no idea if it's true, but I doubt anyone will change their ways.  My only wish is whether you go head first or back in, that you find a way to get in between the lines.

I'm JB and that's the way it oughta be.
