CHARLACK, MO (KPLR) – Residents at a San Rafael low income housing in Charlack were shocked to find out free rams tickets were floating around.

Steve Runge the chief of the Charlack police department is a huge fan of the St. Louis Rams and knows how special a game with your child can be so he applied for a grant and asked the rams for 100 tickets. The grant was awarded and he spent the day handing out the tickets to this week's Cowboys game to families who have never been to a game before.  The Rams were there for Runge's son Jack when his wife passed away over a year ago.  He thought what a great way to give back by handing out tickets to families who want the chance to go to a game and not because their lives have been plagued with tragedy.

If you want to submit an application for the St. Louis Rams and Edward Jones charitable ticket program, you can do so here.
