ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – Wednesday ninety plus degrees and high humidity are causing pop-up storms in the News11 viewing area. Storms are mostly forming south of I-64 drifting west to downtown St. Louis.

Some of these storms maybe intense and seem like tropical rainstorms for the amount rainfall that will occur.

The storms are expected to be over with around 9 pm.
