ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - One of St. Louis' most popular festivals celebrates the history, culture and people of Japan. The Japanese festival returns to the Missouri Botanical Garden on Labor Day weekend.

2014 Japanese Festival:

  • Labor Day weekend; Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 30 and 31 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Monday, Sept. 1 (Labor Day) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (doors open at 9 a.m.)
  • Missouri Botanical Garden, 4344 Shaw Blvd., south St. Louis
  • $15 adults (ages 13 and over), $5 children (3 to 12), $5 members
