ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – Many people dined out trying to enjoy a string of cooler nights planned for the St Louis area this week.

Cooler temperatures are making a few business owners a little worried; Mike Madden the night manager at Tropicania Bowl said they just installed a new air conditioning system and business has been slow. He'd like to see more people utilize the bowling alley more when things heat up.

Until then, events like “Jamming at the Zoo” were a huge hit. Over 2-thousand people enjoyed lions, tigers, wine and beer tasting, and live music for just 20 bucks. The next scheduled “Jammin at the Zoo” event is scheduled for Wednesday Aug 27th from 6 pm to 10 pm.
