Former trooper Matt Mitchell seeks to regain driver’s license

(KPLR) – Former Illinois trooper Matt Mitchell is once again trying to regain his driver’s license.  A new hearing has been set for Wednesday, August 13th.

The Illinois Secretary Of State’s Office denied Mitchell’s previous appeal to have his driving privileges reinstated.

Mitchell lost his license after a November 2007 crash killed that killed sisters Jessica and Kelli Uhl.  Mitchell pleaded guilty to reckless homicide and aggravated reckless driving.
