Dierbergs recalling some California fruit from stores

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Dierbergs is recalling some of its California-based stone fruits.

The recall includes conventional and organic varieties of yellow peaches and nectarines, white peaches and nectarines and plums and pluots because they possibly may be contaminated with listeria.

So far, no illnesses have been reported.

The California-based packing company Wawona is voluntarily recalling the fruit, while Dierbergs is pulling all recalled fruits from their sales floors.

Customer who brought the fruit between Monday, July 14th and noon Saturday, July 19th can return the fruit to any Dierbergs for a full refund.

The recall does not include Missouri grown peaches and other locally grown produce.
