One suspect in custody another at large following shooting

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – St. Louis police are looking for a suspect who fled the scene of a shooting that occurred Sunday in the 5800 block on Vivian in north St. Louis. The victim, a 24-year-old male was shot multiple times was taken to the hospital.

Officers responding to the shooting pursued a vehicle for a short time with two suspects. During the pursuit the suspect’s vehicle struck a police vehicle and another vehicle. The pursuit ended near Grand and I-70 with the capture and arrest of the driver, but second suspect fled the vehicle and is still at large.

One officer was sent the hospital complaining of back pain from the police vehicle being struck by the suspect’s vehicle.

The victim’s condition is listed as being critical and unstable.

An investigation is underway.
