ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)- Work continues Sunday downtown on placing girders over Interstate 44 in the area known as the “depressed section”. The large metal support beams will allow CityArchRiver 2015 project workers to place a cover over the highway. A park will be built over the top of the interstate, eliminating the gap that has always existed between downtown and the Arch grounds.
