Brussels Ferry closing due to flooding

BRUSSELS, IL (KPLR) – The Calhoun Illinois Sheriff’s Office is closing the Brussels Ferry at 7:30 pm Monday night. Ferry service will temporarily be shut down till the rising Illinois River falls.

The sheriff’s office is hoping to get the majority of commuters home before closing the ferry, as to not cause any inconvenience.
