Drive sober or get pulled over campaign

(KPLR) – State Troopers will be out in full force this holiday weekend.  Authorities will target drunk drivers and those who are not buckled up.  Federal officials are joining Illinois Law Enforcement for the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign.  The effort is aimed at reducing crashes on Illinois roads during busy summer travels.

Data shows that there have been 85 fewer deadly crashes in Illinois in the first half of this year compared to the same time last year.
