(KPLR) – If you’re planning on barbecuing chicken today, be careful.  Chicken producer Foster Farms has issued a recall of 170 of its products.  The company’s chicken has been linked to an outbreak of salmonella.  It has sickened nearly 500 people over the past 16 months.  The products may also be labeled Kroger, Valbest, and Sunland.

No fresh products currently in stores are involved in the recall but if you’ve bought the chicken in the past and froze it, be careful.
