Wentzville General Motors plant to announce “Production Milestone”

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - The General Motors plant in Wentzville, Missouri is set to announce a production milestone regarding two new mid-sized pick-up trucks.  The 2015 GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado will be built exclusively at the Wentzville plant and sold across the world.  Nearly 2,100 people work at the plant.  During a stretch this year the plant was hiring about 35 employees per week.

 GM officials are expected to reveal more details about the impact of the milestone in the production lines soon.
