Florissant host Hispanic festival

FLORISSANT, MO (KPLR) - The Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival is going on this weekend in Florissant. There was a children's pavilion where they could take turns trying to break open the piñata, face painting and other activities dedicated to children.

There were dance contests for all ages and food and drinks from Latin countries as well as some American favorites.

The festival is being held in Florissant at the Knights of Columbus Park near Lindbergh and Washington Street.

The festival goes till 9 pm.
