Botanical garden offers St. Louisans a way to beat the heat

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) - The summer heat has finally returned to the St. Louis area and meteorologist Anne Elise Parks is the Missouri Botanical Garden for the Whitaker Music Festival.

The music festival is held every Wednesday evening from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm on the botanical grounds. Patrons are encouraged to listen to the open air concerts, bring a picnic basket or cooler to the event. The garden will have some food and drink available for purchase.

Admission to the garden is free after 5 pm, and the Children’s Garden will remain open till 7 pm with free admission.

The concert series runs till August 6th.
