Remaining escaped wolf may have killed family pet

FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO (KPLR) – The hunt is on for the last of two gray wolves that escaped from their enclosure at the licensed owner’s home in Franklin County last Sunday.

Saturday the wolf was spotted about a mile from its owner’s home, near Robertsville. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says they think wolf killed an 11-year-old Boston Terrier named Darla Friday night.

The wolf is about 100 to 150 pounds and is normally not aggressive.

If you see the wolf, call the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
