(KPLR)-MoDOT officials have released a list of hundreds of state projects it could complete if voters approve a statewide transportation sales tax. Proposed Constitutional Amendment 7 on the August ballot will ask voters whether to impose a three quarters cent sales tax for transportation that would last ten years, raising more than 530 million dollars.

Among the state projects is widening Interstate 70 to three lanes in each direction from Wentzville to Independence and improvements to Interstate 44 between I-270 and 141 that would mean new bridges over the Meramec River.

The list also includes a future light rail station in the city of St. Louis and would fund future expansion.

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission will vote on a final list in early July.
