(KPLR) – A stubborn low pressure system is swirling away from the area. Clearing skies from St. Louis westward will be the result with clouds lingering to the east. Rainfall so far this month is 2.86" and is 1.32 above normal. Precipitation for the year is 19.92" and is 2.01" above normal. Even though a new storm system will bring another round of thunderstorms on Thursday late afternoon, the overall pattern will stabilize a bit with sunshine and dry weather for Friday, Saturday & most of Sunday.
