CREVE COEUR, MO (KPLR) – A community comes together staying "Keira Strong" for a first grader battling cancer. People gathered at Quail Ridge Park in Wentzville to celebrate the fight that isn't going to keep this little girl down.

On May 15th, Keira Stout was diagnosed with a rare form of muscle cancer.  It started behind her eye and spread to the skull cavity.  They also found a tumor in her back and a few spots on her lungs.  Later that week they found it was in her bone marrow and that automatically puts her at high risk and stage four cancer.
