(KTVI) - A Springfield, Missouri playground is renamed in memory of murder victim Hailey Owens.

Friends and family gathered to see the newly renovated park where Hailey loved to play.  A Springfield business man helped fund the project which cost half a million dollars.

The 10-year-old was abducted from her neighborhood last February.  Her body was found in the basement of a Springfield teacher's aide's home.

Hailey's grandparents say the playground is a place of healing that reflects her spirit.
