ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A decision that threw out a federal lawsuit challenging some aspects of the proposed Loop Trolley project will be appealed. Last month, a federal judge threw out the lawsuit on procedural grounds.

Opponents filed a suit claiming the trolley transportation development district that will fund the project was established in an election that did not comply with Missouri election laws or the constitutions of the U.S. and state.

The trolley would run between the History Museum in Forest Park and the Delmar Loop in University City.
