Sam’s Documentary set to air on Oprah Network is Postponed

The documentary series to be done on Rams rookie Michael Sam on the Oprah Winfrey Network has been postponed. The announcement came Friday night from the Rams and the NFL. Sam is the first openly gay player in the National Football League and the OWN Network wanted to document Sam’s first season with the Rams. After a day of discussions between Sam, his agents, the Rams and the NFL, the postponement was announced. Friday also marked Sam’s and the rest of the Rams rookies debut on the practice field out at Rams Park in Earth City, MO.
