(KPLR) – In Wednesday’s “The Way It Oughta Be”, JB looks at what's in your wallet? Apparently fewer and fewer of us are carrying cash.

I remember talking with one child who thought money came from ATM machines. He didn't quite understand people were paid for work. He thought anyone could go to a "money machine" and get what they need.

Some kids believe credit cards are "magic" cards that give their mom and dad the power to buy whatever they want.

Fewer and fewer people are carrying cash anymore which leads me to believe more and more kids will need a little financial education. I know a lot of people don't like talking about money but they should. There are too many kids who believe money really does grow on trees.

I'm JB, and that's “The Way It Oughta Be”.
