EUREKA, MO (KTVI)-- The family of two teenage girls killed in a car accident in Wildwood last year is giving generous gifts to their daughters' high school.

A large bronze sculpture of a wildcat was dedicated Thursday afternoon at Eureka High School in honor of Lauren and Kathleen Oliver.

Their parents headed up a donation drive for the sculpture.

In addition, the family has established scholarships that will be awarded to three Eureka seniors Thursday night.

The two sisters died last August in the car crash, not far from their home in Wildwood.

For the first time, the Oliver family is speaking out about the loss of Kathleen and Lauren.

In an exclusive interview they told Dan Gray that their faith and friends have been crucial to their emotional healing.

That story coming up tonight on Fox 2 News at 9.
