Twin kills brother trying to break-up after basketball game

FLORISSANT, MO (KPLR) - A 24-year-old north county man was arrested on suspicion of involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of his twin brother. Florissant Police say Marcus Horton crashed his Chevy Tahoe into his brother, Marion Sunday evening pinning him against a tree during a fight with two other men. The incident happened near the basketball court at Cross Keys Middle School.

Police say Marcus Horton told them he was trying to break up the fight when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into his brother. Marion Horton was airlifted to Christian Hospital were he was pronounced dead Monday.

Marcus Horton was released from custody without charges. The case will be turned over to the prosecutor for consideration of possible charges.

    Marcus was my best friend and ex boyfriend. I know he loved his brother dearly and his brother was his best friend.
