CHARLESTON, MO (KPLR) – Convicted robber Cornelius "Mike" Anderson walked free Monday from Mississippi County Court, after a Missouri judge ordered his release from prison.

In 2000, Anderson was sentenced to 13-years in prison for his role in a robbery.  But due to clerical errors, he was never put behind bars.

For the past 13 years he's stayed out of trouble, started his own business, married and had children.

When the Missouri Department of Correction realized he was never jailed, Anderson was handcuffed and put in prison this past July.
