Tupelo tornado damage still shocking to residents

TUPELO, MS (KPLR) - The storm that left 13 dead in the south appears to be weakening.  The National Weather Service says at least 35 tornadoes touched down in the Midwest on Sunday and in the south Tuesday.

In Tupelo, Mississippi, one person died from the storm. In one business district, damage and downed power lines can be seen for miles and hotel are closed because of power outages and damage.
