ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – Summer is just around the corner and that means our pets will be spending more time outdoors. There are some safety precautions we should take to protect our pets and a few things we should know in case they need first aid.

Dr. Kelly Ryan, the director of the Animal Medical Center of Mid-America, stopped by to talk with Christine Buck about what paperwork to have on hand, how to avoid injury, and what you can treat at home – and when to head to the vet.
