ST. LOUIS - (KPLR) - He's a grammy-winning musician and an American Idol judge. And now you can see Harry Connick, Jr., enjoy a great dinner and help out a great cause at the same time.

You can call 1-800-782-2222 to donate $95 for a ticket to Variety's "Dinner with the Stars" on May 3rd at the Peabody Opera House.

Variety the Children's Charity helps local kids with disabilities in the St. Louis region and all money raised here stays here. Variety is over 80 years old and Edwards Jones associates are taking calls for donations in our Contact 2 Center.

Variety helps kids in five core areas:

·Therapy-Physical, Occupational, Speech, Aqua and Equine (Horse)

·Recreation-Adventure Camp; Bikes for Kids; Family Outings

·Educational-Variety Children’s Chorus; Variety Children’s Theatre; Champion for Children Summit; Emerson Resource Center

·Equipment-Durable medical equipment including wheelchairs, standers, braces, lifts and much more

·Sunshine Coach Vans-currently 115 on the road transporting children to doctor appointments, therapy sessions and special outings.
