ST. CHARLES, MO (KTVI) – Efforts to ban red light cameras in St. Charles County are picking up steam. County council member Joe Brazil plans to introduce a plan tonight to outlaw the cameras in municipalities and unincorporated areas.

If the council approves the idea it could be on the August 5th ballot. Right now St. Peters is the only town in St. Charles County using red light cameras.
