IDOT wants your input on high speed rail in the Metro East

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – The Illinois Department of Transportation is asking for community input on high speed rail service in the Metro East. They’re hosting a public meeting tonight to focus on the environmental impact from Godfrey to Shipman, Illinois.

The meeting is from 4-7pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Godfrey. When the project is completed the high speed rail service will run between St. Louis and Chicago.
