Americans unite to keep food names from European Union

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - You just don't mess with Americans' food. That seems to be the message from our lawmakers. It seems the European Union is trying to reserve names like feta, Parmesan and bratwurst for food coming out of Europe. It's apparently part of negotiations regarding a trade treaty.

There's been a unified uproar from U.S. lawmakers. They want to protect those names for American use.

It's funny what issues can unite us. I wish we could unite when it comes to more serious problems,
