ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - The Cardinals Home Opener is one of most exciting days in St. Louis this time of year! The Redbirds take on the Cincinnati Reds on Monday. There are also huge events kicking off this week like, Homers For Health.

Homers For Health is a program close to the heart of Cardinal Nation. Matt Holiday and his wife Leslee launched the charity in 2012 to help sick and injured kids at SSM Cardinal Glennon Childrens Medical Center. In just two short years, Cards players and fans have done amazing things for children in need. They have raised more than $1 million dollars through Homers For Health.
