Leader of largest LGBT church visit St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – The leader of world`s largest predominately lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender church to visited St. Louis Sunday morning. Rev. Elder Dr. Nancy Wilson, also known as the Gay-Church Pope," installed a new pastor at the Metropolitan Community Church of Greater St. Louis on south Broadway.

The service highlighted the Christian congregation that has been marrying gay and lesbian couples for over 45 years, and whose founder was the plaintiff in the California Proposition 8 case that marked a major victory for gay marriage after the July 2013 Supreme Court ruling.
