ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – You might remember the story of two teenagers abusing a pit bull puppy and posting it on Facebook. There was outrage. The teenagers were arrested and charged with animal abuse.

But what happened to the dog?

She has been renamed “Honor” and is doing great. Home-towner and Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Mark Buehrle’s wife Jamie re-named the puppy.

Melissa Ledbetter, the co-director of Even Chance St. Louis, stopped be to explain to Randi Naughton how you can help honor “Honor".

Even Chance rescues, rehabilitates and trains pit bulls from five different challenges: dogs needing to be re-homed, domestic abuse cases, dog fighting busts, strays and St. Louis area shelter pit bulls.
