Former Emergency Mgt. Dir. Files for St. Charles Co. Executive race

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO (KPLR) – Rod Zerr, the former St. Charles County Emergency Management Director, and most recently the Division Director of Emergency Management under the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department has file for the St. Charles County Executive race. Zerr makes the third candidate to file for the race to be held in November’s general election.

He will face the winner of the Republicans Primary in August between current St. Charles County Executive Steve Ehlmann , and Missouri House Representative Doug Funderburk of the 103rd District, who is term limited.

Zerr, who is 61-year-old has been a public servant for 21 in St. Charles County, is citing his public service record and department management skills in his bid to become St. Charles County Executive.
