FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – The Franklin County Zoning Commission is set to meet Tuesday night to consider a plan to build a concrete plant near the Shaw Nature Reserve.

The proposed plant would be 600 feet from the reserve’s property line. Nearby homeowners are worried about the noise and the dust causing health problems.

Roger Landvatter is the builder.  He says new machinery will keep down the noiseand state regulations and filters will control the dust.
