ST. LOUIS (KPLR) - Sunday marks the 150th anniversary of a St. Louis miracle. The Shrine of St. Joseph in St. Louis was packed for the celebration.

More than 1,000 believers packed the church for a mass to commemorate the 150th anniversary of a miracle attached to this relic from St. Peter Claver.

The relic was used to heal German immigrant Ignatius Strecker on March 16, 1864. Descendants say it’s a blessing that has carried on for generations.
