Fire destroys 3 townhomes in Fenton

FENTON, MO (KPLR) - Just before 5 am Sunday morning, firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire at 400 block of Summit Tree Court in Fenton, where three townhomes were on fire.

The fire started on the ground in back of middle townhouse and spread to the townhomes on either side.

A neighbor saw fire in middle townhouse and let homeowners know, so they were able to get out safely.

An investigation is underway as to what caused the fire.

The Red Cross is assisting 3 families affected by the fire with housing, clothing and food.

No one was injured.
