ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A memorial was unveiled on Thursday in memory of fallen Illinois state trooper Kyle Deatherage. He was struck and killed during a traffic stop along I-55 near Litchfield in 2012.

That stretch of highway is now named for him. The I-55 rest stop at northbound milepost 64 was re-named in his honor.
