Suspect identified in burglary of high school

LINCOLN COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has identified a suspect wanted in connection to the burglary of Buchanan High School in Troy, Missouri. The person of interest is 30-yer-old Steven Cody Ueltzen of Moscow Hills.
Ueltzen was identified from tips and people who know Ueltzen.

Investigators late Tuesday night found a bank bag with Buchanan High School written it, along with other bank bags and correspondences from the school along State Highway RA. Investigators also learned that Ueltzen has been living in a white minivan in the Logan Conservation Area, were the school safe was found, pried open.

Visitors to the conservation area told investigators that Ueltzen asked for a jump last Thursday, for his minivan. His last known address was a Super 8 Motel in Troy, were he checked in as ‘William Hopper”.

Ueltzen may be in possession of a .22 caliber long gun, and .357 magnum handgun, and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Ueltzen has multiple arrests warrants out of Lincoln County and four other agencies to include Unlawful Use of a Weapon, felony Domestic Assault and Endangering the Welfare of Child.

Ueltzen may be traveling with 33-year-old Sabrina Frey of Moscow Hills.
