(KPLR) – Americans are using Smartphones and tablets to access the internet more than pc’s last month. It’s the first time that’s ever happened.

Mobile devices account for about 55 percent of internet usage.

Apps make up about 47 percent of internet traffic, while pc’s clocked in at 45 percent.

The shift follows a big drop in pc sales and a big increase in Smartphone sales.
