Metro offering special Mardi Gras shuttle

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – Metro is offering shuttle bus service for Mardi Gras party goers on Saturday, March 1st. The $5 commemorative round trip passes will be available for purchase on March 1st. The passes can only be purchased at the Civic Center MetroLink station across from the Scottrade Center, and will only be valid from 9 am to 11 pm on March 1st only.

Grand Parade and Mardi Gras goers can catch the shuttle at the Civic Center MetroLink Station, located at the corner of 14th Street and Spruce Street in Downtown St. Louis. The shuttles will run every 15 minutes, and will drop off and pick up in Soulard on Carroll Street between Menard and 10th Streets.

Passes for the shuttle are not valid for rides on Metro buses or on MetroLink.

To accommodate additional MetroLink riders, Metro will be shortenings wait times for trains between Forest Park-DeBaliviere to Fairview Heights to 7-8 minutes Saturday. All other stations will have trains stopping every 15 minutes.
