Krewes working on floats for this weekend’s Mardi Gras Parade

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - The fun of the annual Mardi Gras parade in Soulard starts with a lot of work. Krewes started putting the finishing touches on their floats early Monday morning.

Mack Bradley of Mardi Gras, Inc. walked FOX2's Kim Hudson through the preps and and plans in Soulard for Saturday's procession.  The parade is free, and you can buy food and drinks at nearby restaurants.  So, bring cash, credit cards and warm clothing.  But, leave the cans, coolers, bottles and backpacks at home.  They will not be allowed in the festival area.
