ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – Fire heavily damaged a two-story brick building on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive at Goodfellow Boulevard in North St. Louis.

St. Louis Firefighters got the call around 1 a.m. Friday for the fire on the second floor of a former dry -cleaning business. St. Louis Fire Captain Garon Mosby said University City Firefighters also helped with the first-alarm fire, because the scene was just blocks from the city limits.

No word on what caused the fire. Mosby said investigators found evidence someone may have been sleeping in the vacant business.  But, no one was injured.
